About the role

At Send AI we’re looking for an intern who’s excited to learn and contribute to real machine learning projects. You’ll work closely with our ML team on improving how we train, evaluate, and deploy models used in our document processing platform. You’ll get hands-on experience with transformer-based models like BERT, as well as the latest large language models such as GPT-style architectures. This is a practical, research-driven internship where you’ll help turn promising models into reliable, production-ready systems. Since we’re a small team, your contributions will matter from day one.

What you’ll do

• Work with real business documents to understand practical AI implementation challenges

• Implement techniques to enhance document data for training machine learning models

• Test and optimise model performance for different types of document extraction tasks

• Gain hands-on experience with a range of models from specialised extractors to generative AI

• Provide a positive impact to our production systems

Who are you

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from MSc Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical degree program

• Interested and enthusiastic about NLP

• Proactive, communicative and excited to work in a small team

• Experience with Python and related ML frameworks is a plus

• Compensation €750 p/m
