About Send AI

Large companies use Send AI to tackle high-volume inbound documents such as emails, PDFs, scans, and photographs. On Send AI they are able to train their own set of AI models that help them parse, extract, validate, and finally export the relevant information. Unstructured documents in, structured data out. A 100B+ problem that anno 2024 is still largely solved by costly and error-prone manual labor.

Our unique approach of enabling our users to train their own AI models helps companies keeping their data consealed, which makes us the number 1 solution in regulated industries such as government, health care, and insurance. On top of that, having your own AI models working just for you, makes for super fast inference speeds and stable performance. These are important factors to prefer customized AI over ill-fitting one-size-fits-all solutions from our competitors.

Of course, our approach comes with many challenges. How can make ordinary people work smoothly together with AI models? How can we deploy many AI models in a cost efficient way? What combination of AI models are best suited for specific tasks? How can we provide value to new users in hours instead of days? How can we deal with hugh spikes of heavy documents hitting our servers every hour? To us, these are the exciting questions that keep us working hard every day.

About the role

At Send AI, we are building an engineering team of highly skilled individuals who can each take on full responsibility of pieces of our platform. Your goal will be to push Send AI from a tool which allows users to process documents with a bit of concierge service, to a tool where users can select, finetune and monitor their own AI models. You will push code on a daily basis that contributes to new features and improved workflows. You will be able to work with the latest AI models, from small transformers to large LLMs to Multi-Modal models, anything to get the job done. Since the team is still small you will be expected to help out where the need is highest from time to time, allowing you to work from database architecture to some Frontend work.
